CFP: 2019 Feminisms & Rhetorics Conference at James Madison U, November 13-16, 2019

The 12th Biennial Feminisms and Rhetorics Conference will take place November 13-16, 2019, at Hotel Madison, near the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The conference theme, “Redefining Feminist Activism,” “invites participants to reflect on or redefine current trends in and future possibilities for grassroots feminist activism in what we are calling ‘DIY feminist activism.'” Harrisonburg is located 141 miles northeast of Blacksburg, along the scenic Shenandoah Valley corridor (I-81).

The proposal system is open through Friday, February 1, 2019. Notifications of acceptance will be made by Saturday, June 1, 2019. Early registration begins Monday, July 1, 2019.
